• Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) 1ST grade (First Year First Communion Preparation) 11:30am -12:30pm | CGS Atrium

 

• Second Year First Communion Preparation -Additional class time added this year!  Students must be Baptized and completed 1st year Communion preparation | AMCA (Ave Maria Catholic Academy, formally Donahue Academy)

  • 10:30 -11:30am-2nd/3rd graders

  • 11:30am -12:30pm-2nd/3rd graders

  • 11:30am -12:30pm-4th-6th graders

 

• OCIC - Youth:  11:30am -12:30pm | AMCA

  • 3rd-5th grades “Bridges to Faith” catechesis is centered on the four pillars of the Catechism along with the Catholic Children’s Bible

  • 6th-9th grades “Called to Be Catholic” comprehensive introductions to the essentials and key teaching of the four pillars of the Catholic Faith along with the “Break Through Bible for Teen Catholics”

 

• St. Margaret of Castello: 11:30am -12:30pm | AMCA - faith formation for persons with disabilities and their families.  Sacramental preparation included (as needed).

 

• WORD OF LIFE  (Augustine Institute) 3rd-8th grades:  11:30am -12:30pm | AMCA Continuing catechesis for students who have received their first sacraments

 

Wednesday, September 23, 2026

• OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation) | 6:30 - 8:00pm | AMCA Library - the sessions are designed to help adults learn more about the Catholic faith, learn more about what the Catholic Church teaches, and to assist them in developing a relationship with Jesus Christ.  The class is also open to adult Catholics who have already received their sacraments and want to deepen their faith.

 

Wednesday, September 23, 2026

• Confirmation Preparation | 6:30 - 8:00pm | AMCA 2nd floor Confirmation is a two-year program for 9th-10th graders (must register both years) Baptismal Certificate/Proof of Communion are required at registration (1st year Confirmation students do not attend these classes)
