Rev. Andrew Hofer, O.P., the youngest of ten from a Kansas farm, joined the Dominican Province of Saint Joseph in 1995. He professed simple vows in 1996, solemn vows in 2000, was ordained a deacon in 2001, and a priest in 2002. His roles have included parochial vicar in Rhode Island, missionary in Kenya, doctoral student at Notre Dame, formator at the Dominican House of Studies, and editor of The Thomist journal since fall 2021, where he was also previously the book review editor.
