Here are some resources to keep Sunday Holy with your family when Mass isn’t available.
1. Stream Mass into your home. Set up your computer or TV in your family prayer space. Check out avemariaparish.org/live-stream-mass for our Masses or find a new one this week.
2. For kids: you can get this month’s MagnifiKid free. This great resource allows children who can read to follow along with the Mass and gives reading-related activities. Also: check out this page of activities for today’s Gospel: https://www.catholicicing.com/lazarus-crafts-printables-and-activities-for-kids/
3. We’re still in Lent, and with it comes the three traditional Lenten practices of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. Pick one from each to do today, or pick them today to do throughout this week! I have suggestions here: https://www.avemariaparish.org/post/prayer-fasting-and-almsgiving-for-the-current-time
4. If you are not sick, and are not in a vulnerable group, Holy Communion is available today from 10:45-11:15 at the parish school. See the guidelines here. The regular conditions for receiving Communion apply, namely that you have fasted for one hour and are in a state of grace.
